The path begins with a mandatory information session. After that, applicants select an active home project and submit an application, and staff respond within about two business days. The homebuyer line is 720-496-2726.

Metro Denver Habitat runs four ReStores, in Denver, Littleton, Arvada, and Aurora, open daily and selling discounted home-improvement goods, with free donation pickup scheduled online. Its home preservation program handles critical repairs such as roofing, windows, and siding for existing homeowners at a small portion of the cost.
A program called CAPABLE provides home modifications so homeowners 65 and older can live safely at home, and the organization also builds accessory dwelling units on existing lots and runs a community land trust to keep homes affordable long term.
