San Diego Humane Society and SPCA

Who We Are

The San Diego Humane Society and SPCA is a non-profit organization that has been serving the San Diego community since 1880. Our mission is to promote the humane treatment of animals, prevent cruelty to animals, and provide education to enhance the human-animal bond.

What We Do

We provide a wide range of services to the community, including animal adoptions, spay/neuter services, animal cruelty investigations, and educational programs. We also offer pet behavior training classes, pet loss support groups, and a pet food bank for low-income families.

Impact

Our organization has made a significant impact on the San Diego community. In 2020 alone, we rescued over 10,000 animals and found homes for over 8,000 pets. We also provided over 20,000 spay/neuter surgeries and investigated over 1,500 cases of animal cruelty.

Giving

There are many ways to support the San Diego Humane Society and SPCA. You can make a donation online, by mail, or by phone. You can also become a monthly donor or leave a legacy gift. Additionally, you can support our organization by shopping at our thrift stores or attending one of our fundraising events.

Grants
