Make-A-Wish Arizona

Who We Are

Make-A-Wish Arizona is a non-profit organization that grants wishes to children with critical illnesses. Founded in 1980, Make-A-Wish Arizona has granted over 6,500 wishes to children across the state. Our mission is to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses, providing hope, strength, and joy to them and their families.

What We Do

Make-A-Wish Arizona grants wishes to children between the ages of 2 1/2 and 18 who have been diagnosed with critical illnesses. Our wish granting process is designed to create an unforgettable experience for the child and their family. We work closely with the child and their family to determine their wish and then work to make it a reality. Our wishes range from trips to Disney World, meeting a celebrity, or even becoming a superhero for a day.

Impact

The impact of a wish is immeasurable. Wishes have the power to give children hope, strength, and joy during a difficult time in their lives. Research has shown that wishes can improve a child’s quality of life, increase their sense of well-being, and even improve their physical health. Wishes also have a positive impact on families, bringing them together during a challenging time.
