Who We Are
The Anti-Cruelty Society is a nonprofit organization that has been serving animals and people since 1899. We are committed to preventing cruelty to animals and providing compassionate care and resources to pets and their owners. Our mission is to build a community of caring by helping pets and educating people.
What We Do
We offer a range of services to help animals and their owners, including adoption, veterinary care, behavior training, and humane education. Our adoption center is one of the largest in the country, with hundreds of dogs, cats, and other animals available for adoption. We also provide low-cost veterinary care to pets in need, including spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, and dental cleanings.
In addition to our direct services, we work to prevent cruelty to animals through advocacy and outreach. We partner with law enforcement agencies to investigate cases of animal abuse and neglect, and we educate the public about responsible pet ownership and animal welfare issues.
