Who We Are

Children & Families of Iowa (CFI) is a non-profit organization that has been serving Iowa families since 1888. Our mission is to restore hope, build futures, and change lives for those in need. We provide a wide range of services to children, families, and individuals across the state of Iowa.

What We Do

CFI offers a variety of services to help individuals and families in need. Our services include mental health counseling, domestic violence prevention and intervention, substance abuse treatment, family support services, and child welfare services. We also offer a 24-hour crisis hotline for those in need of immediate assistance.

Impact

CFI has had a significant impact on the lives of those we serve. In 2020 alone, we provided services to over 30,000 individuals across the state of Iowa. Our services have helped individuals overcome mental health challenges, escape domestic violence situations, overcome substance abuse, and improve their overall quality of life.
