Who We Are
Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas is a non-profit organization that has been serving the community since 1956. We are a social service agency that provides assistance to those in need, regardless of their religious affiliation. Our mission is to serve those who are vulnerable and in need, and to promote the dignity of all people.
What We Do
We provide a wide range of services to help those in need, including food assistance, emergency financial assistance, shelter and housing assistance, immigration services, and more. Our programs and services are designed to meet the needs of individuals and families who are struggling with poverty, homelessness, hunger, and other challenges.
Impact
Our impact on the community is significant. In 2020 alone, we served over 50,000 individuals through our various programs and services. Our food assistance program provided over 1.5 million meals to those in need, and our emergency financial assistance program helped over 1,200 families stay in their homes.
