Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Idaho

Who We Are

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Idaho is a nonprofit organization that provides mentoring services to children in need. Our mission is to create positive relationships that have a direct and lasting impact on the lives of young people. We believe that every child has the potential to succeed and thrive, and we work to provide them with the support and guidance they need to reach their full potential.

What We Do

Our organization matches children with adult mentors who serve as positive role models and provide guidance, support, and friendship. We offer one-to-one mentoring programs, as well as group mentoring programs, that help children build self-esteem, develop social skills, and improve academic performance. Our programs are designed to help children overcome adversity and achieve their goals.

Impact

Our mentoring programs have a significant impact on the lives of the children we serve. Studies have shown that children who participate in our programs are more likely to graduate from high school, attend college, and have higher self-esteem than their peers who do not participate. Our programs also help children develop positive relationships with adults and peers, which can lead to improved mental health and well-being.

Giving

We rely on the generosity of donors to fund our programs and services. Your donation can help us provide mentoring services to more children in need. You can donate online or by mail, and your donation is tax-deductible.

Grants

We also receive grants from foundations and corporations that support our mission. If you are interested in supporting our organization through a grant, please contact us for more information.
