Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit is a non-profit organization that has been serving the community since 1921. Our mission is to provide job training, employment placement services, and other community-based programs for people who have disabilities, lack education or job experience, or face other barriers to employment.
What We Do
We offer a variety of programs and services to help individuals achieve their full potential. Our job training programs include computer skills, customer service, and retail training. We also offer employment placement services, resume writing assistance, and job search support.
In addition to our job training and employment services, we operate retail stores throughout the Detroit area. These stores provide affordable clothing, household items, and other goods to the community. Proceeds from our stores support our mission of helping people find jobs and build careers.
