Who We Are
The Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Alabama is a non-profit organization that provides after-school and summer programs to children and teens in the central Alabama area. Our mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
What We Do
We provide a safe and positive environment for children and teens to learn, grow, and have fun. Our programs focus on academic success, healthy lifestyles, and character development. We offer homework help, tutoring, STEM activities, sports and fitness programs, arts and crafts, and leadership development opportunities.
Impact
Our programs have a significant impact on the lives of the children and teens we serve. We help them improve their academic performance, develop healthy habits, and build strong character. Our members are less likely to engage in risky behaviors such as drug use and violence. They are more likely to graduate from high school, pursue higher education, and become productive members of society.
