Journey’s End can only accept winter coats and jackets for children and adults (no XL-XXL sizes, please), mittens and gloves, and scarves and hats, due to a lack of storage space. All items must be new or gently-used and clean . We help set up people in housing and help provide everything they may need. Please note that donations of large items can only be accepted from 9am-3pm Monday – Friday.
We need all sizes of coats, but especially Large to 6XL. Journey’s End accepts very limited donations of couches, kitchen tables, chairs, and bedroom dressers, on an as-needed basis. PLEASE – no furniture from households with smokers or pets. We provide our clients with furniture that is not stained, damaged, or torn. Everything must be clean and in very good condition.

Unfortunately our demand for hats and mittens is so great, it outweighs the amount we are able to collect within a year. Therefore we rely heavily on our gracious donors to help support us and the ability to purchase hats and mittens at wholesale prices to fill those inventory needs.
Whether you have outgrown a favorite outfit, are ready to retire a certain fashion trend or are simply clearing space in your closet, donating clothes to Goodwill is easy! Simply load the clothing you wish to donate into a bag, box or vehicle and head to the Goodwill donation center nearest you. Just leave your bags of hats and mittens at the location, no need to call in advance. Every year we serve thousands of families at Christmas time.
