A dime or a quarter at a drive-thru may not seem like much, but when millions give, a huge difference can be made for children and families worldwide. The RMHC Donation Boxes are one of our biggest ongoing fundraisers. In 2015, alone, the Huntington Ronald McDonald House received over $130,000 from donation boxes. If every McDonald’s customer donated just a penny in the Donation Box, it could raise over $210 million to support children in need and their families.

Each year on October 15th, we celebrate the RMHC Day of Change, which commemorates the opening of the very first Ronald McDonald House. Help us celebrate by dropping your change in a donation box or Round-Up for RMHC at a local McDonald’s on October 15th, or any day throughout the year.

Ronald McDonald House Charities Donation Boxes:

The RMHC donation boxes located in participating McDonald’s restaurants are our system’s largest ongoing fundraisers. It’s from people like you filling the donation boxes with quarters, dimes and nickels. Last year alone, more than $50 million was collected worldwide and over $100,000 was collected in Central Texas alone. Every day, McDonald’s gives people who want to support our families the opportunity to drop their change in the donation boxes at restaurant counters and drive-thru windows.
