Nlb Thrift Store & Donation Center - Cumming to intentionally donate gently

Thrift Store

Our faith-based program goes beyond drug rehab in that we rescue addicts, regenerate men, and reconcile families. As a 501 corporation, your donations are tax deductible — and very much appreciated. Whether you want to sort donations, price items, or move heavy furniture, you can give back to our organization by volunteering at a store near you. Research shows that long-term sobriety is dependent on adequate length of treatment. Most treatment programs, driven by insurance, allow fourteen to twenty-one days of care.

  • We have a full staff of clinical therapists, recovery specialists, and medical professionals.
  • Churches can use these gift cards as part of their existing benevolence ministries.
  • Every quarter, your church will receive gift cards to NLB Thrift Stores.
  • For those needing to fulfill court-ordered community service hours, No Longer Bound has opportunities to do so at our thrift stores.
  • Whether you give a one-time donation or become a regeneration partner, every gift helps to save lives.

No Longer Bound’s recovery model is different because residents receive a variety of job training experiences. Men working on the NLB Thrift industry team gain retail and customer service experience, learn scheduling and logistics detail, plus other valuable skills. We care so much about healing men from addiction, we actually raise money for each man we admit to supplement the cost of care. Donated automobiles, boats, motorcycles, RVs, trailers, and anything else on wheels provide valuable training opportunities to prepare men for new careers.

Excess Matters is a partnership opportunity between local churches and No Longer Bound. It encourages church members to intentionally donate gently used items to our thrift stores. Then, in the form of a gift card, we return a portion of the proceeds for those donated items. Churches have the option to disperse the gift cards to those directly in their care who need it most. Your donations, purchases, volunteer service, financial gifts, or possibly a car donation all help subsidize year-long treatment, care, food, and housing of our residents. Operation of our thrift stores also provide men an opportunity to gain experience in retail sales, customer service, logistics, scheduling, and teamwork.
