Hope Harbor Donations

Hope Chest Thrift

Since 1985, Hope Harbor has provided a home for teens in crisis, transformed lives, and reunified families. Being 100% privately funded with no government funding, we depend on your kind donations to keep this program open for at-risk, runaway or homeless teens in crisis in our community. We need your help to prevent teen homelessness in Orange County, one life at a time. Hope Harbour’s efforts are only possible because of the generous support we receive from individuals and organizations who believe that everyone deserves to live a life free from violence.

Clients requesting services, donation drop-off, and all other inquiries should be made at the Service Center. All mail for clients should be sent to the Service Center and not the Shelter.

Hope Harbor depends on our thrift store sells to finance a portion of our operating expense. Clothing donated can also help victims and their children who are forced to flea with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Additionally, as former victims of abuse are ready to enter the work force, donated clothing can get them started with interview clothes and work appropriate clothing. The mission of Hope Harbor is to empower and support anyone impacted by sexual trauma.

Unfortunately, sexual violence has an impact on each of us, our communities, friends, and families. We have a strong commitment to providing quality services to all survivors. Hope Harbor counts on your donations to help continue to enhance and improve our services including crisis intervention, counseling, and education and prevention. We help meet the need for safe shelter, meals, and supportive case management with a goal of obtaining permanent housing and becoming self-sufficient. Three Hope Chest Thrift Stores in Brunswick County offer gently used high-quality clothing, housewares, furniture, books, collectibles and other items to the public. Profits from the Hope Chest Stores – located in Leland, Supply and Oak Island – provide vital financial support for Hope Harbor Home’s programs, domestic violence victims and their children.
