Home Sweet Home provides essential services I didn’t know or think of as needed. Great organizers with attention to details. As we have expanded over the past 7 years a key test was how do we grow but maintain the same level of service to the transferees of our clients. I have been very fortunate to tap into a tremendous resource to staff our offices. Those potential customers gave us two bits of invaluable feedback. One of the main benefits to transferees from the Discard and Donate program is to have a professional organizer assist them in preparing for their move. Part consultant, part coordinator and part hard worker, our organizers provide customized assistance to support the transferee and their families. Home Sweet Home is a 501 organization connecting nonprofit partners in the St. Louis region with donated furniture and household items. Home Sweet Home receives many donated items, used or new. The relocation is a milestone for those who have completed the program, as they progress from being homeless to having their own living place.

Less packing material helps to save trees and the reduced weight saves fuel. She was very professional, helpful and efficient. Promptly showed up each day, ready to work and she helped us reach our goal ahead of deadline. We couldn’t have done this without her assistance. We had already earmarked items to be donated, but didn’t know where to take them or who to call.

The Discard and Donate program works to everyone’s advantage. Home Sweet Home distributes food, toiletries and clothing to the homeless and the poor living in Puxi and Pudong on Care Day. Your donation can help us provide them with some basic necessities.
