Grogu, our favorite mysterious, charming, and little Force-sensitive creature from The Mandalorian, will make its debut as a huge Funko Pop-inspired balloon on November 25, 2021, during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The gigantic balloons in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade have always mimicked the best of pop culture. And Grogu, who has become an instant global star, is no exception.
On Thanksgiving Day, the Grogu-inspired balloon will stand 41 feet tall, 29 feet long, and 37 feet wide. It will join Macy’s typical mix of gigantic character helium balloons, stunning floats, marching bands, performance groups, celebrities, clowns, and the one-and-only Santa Claus.

During the Parade, there will undoubtedly be a lot of cuteness floating above the streets of Manhattan, delivering pop culture enchantment for Funko and Star Wars fans. It will also delight millions of people in person and on television.
The Grogu-inspired balloon will also be the first Star Wars-themed balloon to appear in the famed Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. It is now in its 95th year.
