Donate Life Legacy Walk gift of life

Donate Life Legacy Walk Midwest Transplant Network

In the Donate Life Legacy Walk and Run we join together to remember and celebrate each and everyone of our donor heroes for their legacy of helping others. Midwest Transplant Network invites you to join us for our seventh annual Donate Life Legacy Walk in June 2023. The walk will feature both in-person and virtual options for participants from all over the country to honor and celebrate the gift of life given through organ, eye and tissue donation. This free community event celebrates the gift of life while also raising awareness about the importance of registering as organ, eye and tissue donors. The annual event was founded by local organizers Craig and Kathleen Hostert of Fullerton and is produced by an Orange County-based 40-member organizing committee. Kathleen, formerly an elementary school teacher and now OneLegacy’s Communications Manager, donated a kidney to her husband Craig in 1998.
