The situation is even more drastic among those aged 35-64, where 78% responded negatively to the question. Most working-age Catholics donate money online 2-11 times a year. About 38% of believers think that less than half of their parish members give money to their parish.

Americans attending Methodist congregations give on average $44 per week. The average annual giving per attendee in Methodist congregations is over $2,000.
