Help others by donating unwanted household items to Habitat for Humanity ReStore
We accept donations of used furniture and pass it on, for free, to our community’s many families in need. Your email will be answered in hours with a phone call from us to further discuss the furniture donation. Once this step is completed, we will either book your date and time, or offer alternatives that you can pursue.
- Proceeds from the sale are returned to the community through grants, scholarships, and gifts.
- Make sure your items are clean, gently used, quality items with no stains, rips, or scratches.

- Proceeds from all of the sales at the Kiwanis Thrift Sale are used for scholarships, gifts, and support of children and families in our own community.
The Salvation Army offers a free pickup service for individuals who want to donate furniture to the organizations. You can call SA-TRUCK to speak with a member of the Salvation army about pick up services. Most of the donated furniture goes to their resale stores, while others will be used to furnish the Salvation Army shelters. Regardless, the Salvation Army provides tax receipts for your donation, which you can use when filing your income tax. They accept used furniture in good condition or useable condition. There are several other shelters and thrift stores where you can donate used furniture.

Take a gift tag off the tree and follow the gift description directions. Purchase a gift described, wrap it if you like, and securely fasten the tag to your package. Return your gift to the Giving Tree as soon as you can, but no later than the third Sunday of Advent.

Everyone is feeling the squeeze of inflation right now, including nonprofits. Donating $5 here or there adds up over time and helps nonprofits combat rising costs for supplies and utilities. Our MRF positively impacts our environment, promotes our local economy, and provides a greater community benefit.
