Who We Are

The Animal Rescue League of Iowa (ARL) is a non-profit organization that has been serving the animals and people of Iowa since 1926. We are dedicated to promoting animal welfare, preventing animal cruelty, and providing care and shelter to animals in need.

What We Do

At the ARL, we provide a wide range of services to animals and their owners. Our services include:

– Adoption: We help find loving homes for animals in our care.

– Animal Control: We work with local law enforcement to investigate cases of animal cruelty and neglect.

– Humane Education: We provide educational programs to schools and community groups to promote responsible pet ownership and animal welfare.
