The American Heart Association has long supported research in these areas with generous donations from donors like you, because we make a difference; our work helps more people survive heart disease and stroke every day! Recently, new studies have been launched at many universities thanks to your support for researchers. There’s never been a better time to invest in this important cause- it may be just what saves someone close to you one day…

Value in Healthcare Initiative

Forty individuals of all backgrounds and disciplines came together to make a bold agreement in support for the healthcare system’s future, determined by their experts’ insights. They come from pharmaceuticals, pharmacies, payers/pharmacy benefit managers (PBM), providers such as health systems or HMOs like Kaiser Permanente – who have already seen what an integrated care model can do with dramatic improvements on outcomes and reduction in cost-of-illness; government representatives including CMS Administrator Seema Verma; technology companies like Intel Corp.; patient groups such as Patients Rising that are speaking up about creating a more responsive approach to address pain management needs now – will also be involved.
